POTA Talk @ GM6NX, Thursday 6th April @ 19:30

MM0MMN, Iliyas, has agreed to give a talk at the club on POTA. Some of you may know POTA is Parks On The Air and was started a few years ago in the USA. Just like SOTA (Summits On The Air), it’s taken some time to gather interest but is now beginning to become popular in more and more countries around the world.

Iliyas is Scotland’s most prolific POTA activator, with over 300 successful activations. He will discuss the program, equipment used, logging , qso format etc. If your unable to climb a mountain to participate in SOTA, then POTA could be for you. Come along and find out what its all about.
